The CLARiiON AX100 and AX100i extends the benefits of networked storage -- including consolidation, automation, and array-based replication—to a broader range of customers by providing a cost-effective alternative to direct-attached or internal SCSI-based storage. The AX100 features a compact, efficient hardware design that incorporates up to 12 Serial ATA (SATA) drives in a 2U (3.5") rack-mountable enclosure. A single AX100 array provides capacities ranging from 480 GB to 3TB.

CLARiiON AX100 supports Windows, Linux, and NetWare server platforms, with SAN, NAS, or direct-attached connections. The dual-processor controller CLARiiON AX100 uses active-active storage processors, mirrored cache, and dual power supplies to deliver high availability and end-to-end data protection. All functionality required to install, configure, and manage the AX100 and host environments is pre-installed and included in the price of the array.
