The EMC Clariion AX series brings you all the benefits of network storage whilst providing a cost-effective alternative to direct-attached storage. The CLARiiON AX series extends the proven advanced functionality and data protection features of the CLARiiON system’s industry leading RAID array architecture incorporating SATA, SATAII disk drives which provide entry-level integrated functionality and ease of use at an entry-level price.

Sleek Hardware Design.
CLARiiON AX series features a compact, efficient hardware design that incorporates up to 12 Serial ATA(SATA) drives in a 2U (3.5’’) rack-mountable enclosure, a single array providing capacities ranging from 750GB to 6TB.

Flexible connectivity options.
CLARiiON AX supports Windows, Linux, and Netware server platforms, with SAN, NAS, or direct-attached connections. The AX series allows iSCSI connectivity to Windows and Linux hosts.

Integrated Functionality
Pre-installed functionality enables easy installation, configuration and management. A wizard driven management interface simplifies array set-up and monitoring. Snapshot capabilities enable point-in –time imaging bringing added functionality to backup and restores, whilst virtual volume support makes adding capacity child’s play. The AX series brings a new simplicity to storage which enables reliable operation and low maintenance day after day, year after year.
